Since the transportations of medical materials and donated organs currently are carried out by commercial aircraft and helicopters with experienced crew and pilots, the cost is high, and if the urgent medical supplies or medicine or organs are transported by car or truck using highway systems, the risk of delay due to traffic jams and car accidents is high, too. Therefore, the transportation of above medical supplies and donated live organs presents a new need for drone’s commercial use. The long- endurance engine unmanned helicopter using the latest technology can carry important medical materials such as human transplanted organs/serum/drugs/first aid equipment, etc., and arrive at the required medical institution and destination within the needed timeframe and timing without delay.
It can carry medical supplies or equipment weighing up to 15kgs (such as AED, etc.) to perform long- endurance or high-altitude transportation tasks to high mountain destinations and places affected by natural disasters. This single-axis helicopter can reach a speed of 100 km/hr. The mission radius can reach 150 - 200 km, and the flight time can reach 4 hours. It has high-efficiency helicopter design with twin-engines that make sure the helicopter carrying emergent medical equipment and donated organs can land safely even encountering a single engine failure.
It greatly increases the safety and stability of the mission. The precise transmission mechanism and high-lift rotor design make the helicopter highly effective. It has also a perfect safety system. The top of the helicopter is designed with LiDAR , which can detect the surrounding obstacles in real time. Furthermore, the AI image recognition landing system allows the helicopter to land automatically and accurately.
In addition, the avionics system is equipped with dual GPS/dual IMU components and intelligent flight control system, whose redundancy in control and navigation can enable the UAV to perform tasks more safely.
